Other Considerations

Santa Fe is located at 7,000 feet in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
The air is dry (usually about 15-25% humidity) and the sun is strong, so remember to wear a hat, sunscreen, and chapstick.
If you feel out of breath or sluggish, it's probably the altitude. Drink plenty of water; alcohol and caffeine are dehydrating.
Dehydration may also cause headaches, so again, drink lots of water, try ibuprofen, and pace yourself.
Santa Fe enjoys one of the best climates in the world. All four seasons are glorious. Summer days are hot and sunny, and the evenings are cool. Winter sees plenty of sunshine, and often plenty of snow. Fall is, quite simply, perfect.
